My fees for editing depend on the size of the project. Most smaller projects can be done in one sitting, usually within an hour. For this reason, I charge an hourly rate for small projects, calculated in 15-minute increments. Larger projects often have to be broken up over a longer period of time, so for these, my fees are based on character count.

In addition, because small businesses often have several small projects over a period of time, I am pleased to offer monthly billing. This way, I can write a business letter for you at the beginning of the month, edit an investment proposal mid-month, and then edit your website text at the end of the month, and you’ll simply receive one itemized bill. It’s easier for me, and it saves you time and processing costs.
